Voicemail

This performance deals with the idea of keeping on a facade around others when dealing with the loss of a loved one.

Three voicemails from my father are available to be played. As it is up to the audience to choose whether they want to play them. As each plays I release all emotions tied to my father's death. I cry hysterically using one of him shirts that I bought him as a gift to wipe away my tears. But as I wipe them away they just become more apparent with the smeared makeup seeping through the shroud covering my face.
